The depth at which a topic is covered is one of those things that didn't occur to me when I was writing my answer, but which immediately struck me as important when reading your answer. I've definitely read books where they go too deep and do feel like text books, as well as books that just skim the surface and leave me wanting more.

Re: Week 3: Be the Expert In Bookshops #nonficnov

I love books about books, whether fiction or nonfiction, so I can't believe I've not read any nonfiction about book stores! This sounds like a delightful selection of books.

Re: Book Review: Want Not

It wound up being a fantastic book club read (plus, it's old enough that everyone was able to find $4-$7 copies). Parts of the story are in your face & others views are so very subtle, but it stoked strong responses from everyone. Everyone had strong opinions about the characters. If your book club has read something that lead to lively discussion - please share!

Re: Book Review: Want Not

I've not seen any other reviews of this book, but it sounds fascinating. I love books that are about bookshops, or fiction that takes place in a bookstore. Not only am I reading, but the book then reaffirms my love of books. There are some really good bibliomysteries out there. In fact, there's a new collection out that's been edited by Otto Penzler himself http://bit.ly/2ztXD2c I have not read it yet, but I have high hopes!

Re: Week 2: Book Pairing #nonficnov

Thank you. It's always fun to meet a like minded reader. I am always surprised how many people don't consider books about books as an option when looking for their next read.
